Athletes for Nature is a movement that unites outdoor enthusiasts dedicated to safeguarding the very environment that fuels our passion.

Our goal is to grow this community so we can inspire more outdoor enthusiasts, coaches, event organisers and event sponsors to incorporate ethical and climate-friendly behaviours. We aim to become a recognisable presence at sporting events regardless of sporting code or club/group/entity affiliation.

No barriers - one community, irrespective of background.

Membership: $40 NZD per year

Joining Athletes for Nature is a subscription to our Action Steps every time you head out into the great outdoors for training or competing.

Not only will our planet benefit, but you'll also inspire others to start their journey to treading lighter and leaving nothing but footprints.

Your membership allows us to deliver more education, resources and podcast episodes, to further develop our mentorship programme, and to become a presence at more sporting events.

Membership includes an Athletes for Nature patch. Please get in touch so we can obtain your address details to post your AfN patch! (free postage within NZ)

Patches: $15 NZD | Stickers: $10 NZD

Patches are printed with non-toxic, chemical-free, water-based inks. Vinyl bumper stickers are weatherproof and UV-resistant.

Display your patch with pride by attaching it to your favourite garment - headwear, bags, jackets or run shirts are all great options!

When you are done with that garment, you can detach the patch and use it again on your next clothing item of choice. No waste.

Our actions are not fuelled by monetary gain but by belief in our cause. We do not derive an income from this, and despite the considerable time and money invested into these activities, we are driven to continue because we wholeheartedly believe in its purpose.

However, we recognise the importance of support, and financial assistance is crucial to sustain our operations, from covering the monthly expenses of our podcast and two websites to funding the community projects we deliver. Any amount contributed is highly appreciated.

Grants and donations will allow us to accelerate the delivery of our programmes and provide certainty for ongoing commitments so please get in touch for a conversation.
